How does Mainspring GNL work?
- Mainspring GNL contains the active ingredient Cyantraniliprole in IRAC group 28. It works primarily through ingestion, though there is some limited contact activity. Shortly after ingestion:
- the insect stops feeding, limiting plant damage
- becomes irreversibly paralyzed
- mortality occurs within 2-7 days
Mainspring is Systemic!
- Mainspring has translaminar and locally systemic activity when applied as a spray, penetrating the plant cuticle to form a reservoir within the plant tissue.
- In drench applications, Mainspring is taken up by the roots and moves upward in the xylem throughout the plant canopy.
