How to get broad-spectrum insect and turfgrass disease control, all in one

By Matt Giese, M.S., technical services manager for Syngenta

Caravan® G insecticide for lawns combines the efficiency of white grub and brown patch disease control in one convenient application. This broad-spectrum fungicide and insecticide combination controls a broad range of insect and disease pests with just one application.

While timing and geography will vary, one application of Caravan G made between May 15 and July 15 can offer season-long grub control and three weeks of preventive brown patch control and can control more than 20 other turfgrass diseases. Containing the active ingredients found in Heritage® fungicide and Meridian® insecticides, Caravan G controls numerous insects and turfgrass diseases, allowing you to avoid potential labor and purchasing costs associated with applying two separate products. For your convenience, Caravan G is packaged in a 30-pound bag.

For additional disease control, follow up applications can be made with Compendium®, Headway® G or Heritage G fungicides dependent on disease pressure and environmental conditions. These fungicides in combination with Caravan G can provide a strong backbone for a successful lawncare agronomic program.
